Andhra Pradesh Education Minister N. Lokesh has defended the Mega DSC-2025 teacher recruitment process, saying official facts have countered allegations of irregularities.
Responding to clarifications issued by two women officials, Lokesh posted on X that they had presented facts, defended the recruited candidates and upheld the integrity of the DSC process. He said the facts had prevailed over misinformation.
AP School Education Commissioner Tamim Ansaria and SAAP Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director S. Bharani addressed the media on Monday and presented official records and rules concerning candidates selected under the sports quota.
The officials gave case-wise explanations regarding allegations linked to TET eligibility, caste certificates, educational qualifications and sports credentials. They said candidate details had been verified against applicable rules and official records.
They stressed that eligible candidates should not be denied justice based solely on allegations. However, they clarified that any fake certificate or violation of eligibility norms found during a proper inquiry would invite strict action under the rules.
